PROCESS
EMPLOYEE
POOL ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Our employees
are hired based on verifiable successful completion as a Child &
Youth Worker, Registered Practitioner Nurse (RPN) Personal Support
Worker (PSW) or Health Care Aide (HCA) as their profession may imply.
We also hire individuals with vast traceable experience in this field.
Employees
are hired based on possessing valid certification in First Aid and
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training (CPR). We also provide specialized
training (CPI, Crisis Prevention Intervention) to some of our staff
that works with behavioural individuals. Effective Jan. 1, 2003, it
will be mandatory for all our staff to possess CPI training.
Upon
registering with us, our employees are required to provide us within
one month of employment the following documents:
1.
Police Clearance Certificate
2. Medical Report of fitness from their Physician
3. Signing of Confidentiality Statement (upon hire)
