DORVICT MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION

Dorvict's Barrie branch moved into 44 Cedar Pointe Drive, Unit 1103B on November 1, 2007. There are no changes to services or telephone and fax numbers.

Management Services

Dorvict announces the commencement of work by Lisa Warren hired as our new Service Development Coordinator. Lisa’s responsibilities include maintaining relationship with new and existing clients.  Lisa starts on December 3rd, 2007 in her new position.

Training offered by Certified Instructors

Dorvict now offers the following training conducted by Certified Instructors:

• First Aid & CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

  This course is mandatory for all employees working in this field. This training prepares you for medical and incidental emergencies at home or work. You will learn how to identify and assist in emergency situations (i.e. cuts, choking, convulsion and other safety approaches.

• Enhanced Support Training

  This training is designed to provide in-road information on working with youth in crisis, people with disabilities and seniors. The course explores areas of Abuse, Harassment, Health and Safety, Job description and front line responsibilities. In essence, you will learn the Do's and Dont's of the job. This training features lots of participations and case scenarios.

Certificates of completion are issued upon completion of all training.
